Coryographix Photography

Gail Stewart & Cory Mitchell have teamed up to teach workshops. We have a Basics of Photography one on January 25. This will be for anyone starting to learn about photography and wanting to gain a better understanding of Exposure, Focal Length, Depth of Field and more.

Cory says : "It is our goal to help you improve your photographic skills by increasing your understanding of the Basics of Photography. You will be presented topics such as Exposure, Composition, White Balance and more. We will also give you and understanding of how to put these together to capture beautiful images."

NG3C Upcoming Events for early 2014

Saturday, January 11, 2014: SAVE the DATE!
The North Georgia Camera Club Council is pleased to announce that Scott MacQuarrie will be coming to Georgia in 2014. Saturday January 11, 2014 at the Cherokee Arts Center there will be a Meet and Greet from 10:00 AM-10:45 AM, than he will speak from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. Scott is an accomplished photographer who just happens to have Autism.

Scott is an international photo-journalist from Ontario, Canada. He is currently focused on large format art photography and extreme landscapes in particular.

His latest body of work from Antarctica has collected over five national and international awards so far.

While in Georgia, Scott will also be featured in an exhibit and Meet and Greet at the Avery Gallery in Marietta on Friday, January 10.

NG3C is working hard to keep this event cost effective. Members of NG3C Member Clubs will be able to attend for $10.00 per person.

Also coming up in the First Quarter of 2014 will be themed workshops for camera club officers.  Stay tuned. Requests for subject matter are encouraged.
